PRSがヴィンテージの Gibson Les Paul Standard をオマージュして作ったと言われる、McCarty 594の出品です。
PRSというとギラギラした杢目が多いですが、こちらの個体は全体的に落ち着いた印象で、その点でもLes Paulっぽさを感じられます。
2022年モデルで、出品時点でまだ新品購入後7ヶ月ほどしか使用していません。

Les Paulを意識して作られたとはいえ良くも悪くもPRSっぽいハイエンドな香りが感じられたことから、さらにGibsonのサウンドに近付けるためにリペアマンとも相談してピックアップとコンデンサーを交換してあります。

ピックアップにはPAF系で人気のVintage Maniacs Hysteric PAF（カバーで見えないですが、ダブルホワイト）をチョイス。カバーにはMontreux Time Machine Collection PAF clone cover set Relic (Nickel) 405を使用しています。

結果、もちろんLes Paulそのものの音にはなりませんが、より「枯れ感」「隙間感」が生まれてヴィンテージGibsonの雰囲気に近付き、かつコントロールしやすい音になったと感じています。

Les Paulのサウンドが好きだけど、重量や取り回しの難しさが気になる…そんな方にはぜひオススメしたいと思います。
非常に好みのサウンドに仕上がったので今後も使い続ける予定でしたが、資金作りのため泣く泣く出品させていただきます。

購入して日が浅いこともありコンディションとしては良好です。もちろんガリやネックの捻れなどはありません。
何度かスタジオなどに持ち出したため多少はピックのスクラッチ傷などが見られる他、大きめの傷としてはトグルスイッチ周りの塗装ダメージとネック裏の打コンがあります（画像8、9枚目）
ストラップピンをロック式のものに交換していますが、オリジナルも付属します。
